I was a senior in high school and I am very intrigued by the field of medicine. Youth Leaders of Medicine was created to unite students from around the world, to learn about medicine together. In school one of my favorite subjects other than the sciences is foreign language, specifically Spanish! I am so excited to learn about medicine with everyone!
Mehek Sawhney- President
I am a senior in high school and I am amazing by the human body and thus am enticed to go into the field of medicine. I love doing science research specifically in the fields of chemistry, microbiology, and biomedicine. In my free time I also enjoy baking, and doing sports such as badminton, gymnastics and figure skating! I hope to share the wonderful field of medicine and learn along with everyone else about the wonders of the human body!
Himangi Joshi- Treasurer
I am currently in middle school and I am quite fascinated by the human body and its functions. My goal is to become a doctor in the future. I love learning about different diseases and how the human body reacts to them. Outside of all this fun stuff, I'm an athlete. I play tennis out of school and in school. I am really excited to learn new things with everyone else!

I am from a small southern city in Spain, I study the equivalent of sophomore year and Spanish is my mother tongue. Being able to study Medicine has always been my dream, especially if it is the surgery or neurology specialty. My favorite subject is biology or chemistry. I´d like to live in the USA and, as a second option, I would study Neuroscience.
